Quirky #reading habits? #books #readers #MFRWauthor
Have you ever binge-read a book from cover to cover in one sitting?
I have, plenty of times.
When I was a kid, outside of school hours and meal times at the family table, I could almost always be found with a book in my hands. Most of them were read straight through.
Also in those days, during the summer my family spent a month with my grandparents on their farm, and almost as soon as we arrived there, my grandfather would take me into town to get my visitor’s library card. I’d check out the maximum number of books allowed and have them all finished by the next morning.
Of course, back then I read fairly short books.
Now I read much longer novels – but still pick up my old favorites from time to time!
Though I don’t get nearly as many chances to binge-read as I’d like, I love to fit in marathon reading sessions when I can, which usually means staying up half the night or immersing myself in a few books over a weekend.
Bliss, yes???
