Weekly Wrap-up: A REAL wrap! + a Spotlight #MFRWauthor
Hi, Readers – this week is the annual Romance Writers of America conference, and it’s one of the few I’ve missed since I became a member of the organization.
I’m missing my writer friends, my editors, the wonderful workshops, and the fabulous parties. Yes, I’m feeling a bit nostalgic…so I dug out this throwback pic to share with you.
My book, The Texan’s Little Secret, was featured on an elevator wrap at the conference hotel!
This photo was taken a couple of years ago. It’s one of my conference-going highlights – sort of the equivalent of seeing my name up in lights. 😉
The book is part of a Harlequin American Romance continuity, which means a series of books each written by a different author. Though there is an overall connected series thread, each book stands alone with its own happy-ever-after ending.
This was the first time I worked on a project like this one, plus the first time I had a thread of mystery (which I LOVE) in one of my books. And I have to say, I’m very proud of the way the story turned out.
In other news, as of July, the line has had a name change to Harlequin Western Romance.
My brand-new release, Cowboy in Charge, is part of the launch month’s lineup. It’s also in the spotlight at the Eclectic Writer blog, where I’m sharing a clip from the story. Hope you’ll drop by!
You can find Cowboy in Charge almost everywhere you look for books, including:
Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend.
See you over at the blog!
All my best,
Barbara
