A virtual vacation in #SnowflakeValley #readers #booklovers #sweetromance #booksale @entangledpub
The week between Christmas and New Year’s has always been special to me, and below are just some of the reasons I love this time of year:
For many years when I was a kid, my family and I would drive halfway across the country to visit Grandma and Grandpa for the holidays. Once we arrived, Grandpa took me to their small town’s solitary library, where I would wear out my guest card by stripping the shelves of juvenile mysteries.
In high school, I loved the extra time to hang with my BFFs, the human and the fictional, all real to me. By then, I still loved mysteries but had also moved along to reading sweet romance.
Since I’ve become a grownup, I’ve continued the “vacation” feel of the holiday week by always including as much time as possible curled up on the couch for a Reading Marathon. The Marathon is an annual revisit with books from some of my favorite authors.
And now, as an author myself, I’m “vacationing” virtually all this week long.
Many authors – who write many types of books – are introducing their blog readers to One Week to Win Her Boss, my Snowflake Valley story, which is on sale through January 4th.
You should travel along with me and drop in for a visit! 🙂 If you leave a comment, I’ll be sure to say hello back.
First up: Jana Richards writes in a multitude of romance subgenres. Check out her “Romance Storyboard,” then take a peek at the excerpt she’s sharing from my book.
Next: Patricia Preston writes “Swoonworthy Romance” and has a Southern cookbook with recipes that will make you swoon, too. Don’t forget to take a look at that, as well as another excerpt.
Last but absolutely not least, Ella Braeme writes books she calls “mini-vacations” – which is perfect for the theme we’ve got going on here. And here’s her excerpt.
Drop by here tomorrow for our next stops on our virtual holiday trip!
