#WednesdayWisdom – A caution for us all
The past few months have been rough ones in our house, as we’ve learned tragic news from both family and friends. This has made me stop and reassess a few things in life. Made me so much more aware of how brief that life really is. And, to my dismay, it’s made me realize how much precious time I’m wasting.
I worry about too many things I can’t control.
I don’t spend enough time with the people I care about most.
I don’t always follow my To Do list for the day, and while some of those items on the list can be put off, many of them are crucial, which makes ignoring them the equivalent of turning my back on my life, my goals, my dreams.
The sad but inevitable outcome of this is embodied in this quote:
“You may delay, but time will not.” – Benjamin Franklin
We can do things now or later. But if I…if you…don’t do the most important things now, will we have the time and the chance and the later?
We’re at the start of a new year with a brand-new list of resolutions.
I’m going to go tackle a few items from that list. How about you?
All my best,
Barbara
