Snippet Sunday #MFRW #contemporaryromance
Hi, Readers – we’re wrapping up the last Sunday in February with a final peek at the opening scene of The Sheriff’s Son.
Sarah and Tanner are both beginning to get heated in a conversation about her son…the boy Tanner doesn’t know is his son, too.
“I’m going to keep an eye on that child.”
“He’s my responsibility, thank you.”
He snorted. “And a great job you’re doing, too, aren’t you? Can’t even control your own son.”
“How dare you!”
“I’m a deputy sheriff, that’s how. Seems to me your boy’s hyper, high-strung, and attention-seeking.”
“He’s a typical child,” she shot back.
“Trouble waiting to happen.”
Tanner doesn’t have a clue just how much trouble is on the way for him. 🙂 Thanks for reading!

The Sheriff’s Son has just been re-released in a new larger print and a new e-book edition, both available exclusively at Harlequin‘s website. The original can still be found at your favorite e-tailers, including Amazon.
