#SnippetSunday – Man with a badge #MFRWauthor #contemporaryromance #giveaway
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Here’s a quick Snippet Sunday today for your reading pleasure. Tanner’s up for a little teasing, and Sarah’s trying to hide a secret:
“I want to know what you’re doing here. Why did you come back to Dillon?”
“What’s this look like?” He snapped a finger against his badge. “It’s sure not camouflage gear. I’m Deputy Sheriff in this great state of Texas, sent to guard the good folks of Dillon.”
She took a closer look. “You’re County?”
He nodded.
At least he wouldn’t have an office in town. She’d grasp at any spilled straw, though Daddy would’ve told her you can’t fix the camel’s back once it’s snapped.
She and Tanner couldn’t fix their past, either.
The Sheriff’s Son – my first book – has just been reissued in a new larger print and a new e-book edition, both available exclusively at Harlequin‘s website.
The original version can still be found at your favorite e-tailers, including Amazon.
I’ve been running a series of clips taken from the opening scene of the book. To start with the first clip, click here, then just follow along with the blog posts to see the rest.
Also, FYI if this is your first visit to the blog: to celebrate Valentine’s Day, I’m holding a giveaway open thru February 17. Check the Events tab at the top of your screen.
Thanks for stopping by!
All my best,
