Yes, Virginia, Santa Swears ;) #SnippetSunday #MFRWauthor #holidayromance
Readers – hope you’re having an extra-special Sunday, especially if you gained an extra hour last night. What did you do with those added sixty minutes? Sleep? Do some reading? Go out on the town to celebrate?
Today I’m baking a birthday cake to celebrate a book birthday tomorrow! I’m also going to be kicking off a blog tour, so stop by here often during the next couple of weeks or so, as I’ll be posting info frequently about guest posts and giveaways.
For today, here’s your snippet, coming to you from the Birthday Book,
Snowbound with Mr. Wrong
“You can’t undress here, Santa,” Lyssa hissed. She closed the one hook on his costume he’d managed to open.
Nick glanced around the room. Along with the Terrible Trio, another handful of kids stood staring at him as their moms or dads or drivers buttoned their jackets. He should’ve known Santa would always be the star of the show.
“Fine. I left my clothes upstairs,” he told her. “Be right back.”
Two steps later, something on the floor moved beneath his foot, then skidded a handful of inches, and finally shot out from under him. He went down, wrenching his ankle in the clunky Santa boot and landing with a thud that seemed to jar the room.
Under his breath, he muttered a very un-Santa-like word.

I hope you’ll look for the book, which releases tomorrow! Here’s a sneak peek at Chapter One, as well as links for more info.
Thanks for reading.
All my best
Barbara
Happy book b-day! 🙂 My area does not have to turn the clocks back, but I do have to deal with time changes for my cable shows, LOL. Happy Sunday!
Hi, Colleen – we don’t change the clock, either, and it makes me a little crazy as we have so many friends and family members in different times zones, it’s hard to keep track! Happy Sunday to you, too, and thanks for the birthday wishes. 😉
