#CowboyinCharge in the e-book world #MFRWauthor #contemporaryromance
Hi, Readers – today I have book news and a special note to share about my July 2016 release. Cowboy in Charge is book 4 in the Hitching Post Hotel series.
There are many steps in taking a story from the first glimmer of an idea to the finished book in print in my hands or on a screen. Each step is special in its own way.
Usually, I get to see the cover copy first. Here’s the blurb from the back cover of Cowboy in Charge:
TIMING IS EVERYTHING
Single mom Layne Slater thought she’d seen the last of Jason McAndry when he chose the rodeo over her and their unborn son. Now Jason’s back in Cowboy Creek and just as handsome as ever. But Layne can’t give in to those feelings again. She has to protect her children…and her heart.
Jason wants to try to make up for the pain he caused when he left. The least he can do is help Layne while he’s home. Before long, Jason realizes he’s finally ready to be the husband, father and man his family deserves. But can Jason prove to Layne that this time, their love is forever?

Receiving the book cover is also a very big deal. 🙂

Getting the news that the book is available to share with readers is a pretty exciting step, too!
For those of you who love your e-reader, I’m happy to report that Cowboy in Charge has just become available for pre-order on Amazon.
You can also find the e-book and print versions at Harlequin and other e-tailers.
If you’re a print fan, please look for the book at your favorite booksellers, including:
Amazon Barnes & Noble Books-A-Million IndieBound

Though there are connected characters who visit the Hitching Post, each story stands alone – with its own happy-ever-after ending – and so the books don’t necessarily need to be read in order. I hope you’re enjoying the series and will look for the new book, too.
Special Note: as of the July 2016 releases, Harlequin American Romance has a new name. As you can see from the cover above, the line will be called Harlequin Western Romance to embrace its western flavor – but my books won’t be any different from the ones you’ve already read.
Thank you for your interest in my stories and for stopping by the blog today!
All my best,
