And here’s Rancher at Risk:
After the loss of his family in a tragic accident, Ryan Malloy has been given one last chance to change his life. His boss sends him to Flagman’s Folly, New Mexico, to run his ranch, but unfortunately, Ryan’s troubled attitude lands him in hot water with the locals, especially the ranch’s manager, Lianne Ward.
Deaf since birth, Lianne has never let her disability define who she is. But, she’s yet to meet a man who treats her as an equal. Ryan seems different…that is, when they’re not butting heads over the ranch’s new school for disadvantaged boys.
Forced to work together, Lianne and Ryan discover an unexpected attraction beneath their quarreling. But will Ryan’s painful past drive them apart…permanently?

This sounds like a great story. I can’t believe I forgot about this giveaway. But I have a good excuse: came down with horrible bronchitis on Christmas eve. A new romance would sure brighten up my recovery!
Love the excerpt. I’m looking forward to reading this. Hank you for the excerpt and the giveaway chance.
Carol L
It’s great to have Christmas continue for a few more days! Thank you and Happy New Year!
Love that one of the characters is deaf in this story–that’s an interesting twist. I’m sure the “school for disadvantaged boys” is sure to stir things up, too. Can’t wait to read it!
Wow! This sounds intense! I love the subjects it touches on.
Omg I have to read this!!!! I’ve always wanted to read a book where one or both of the main characters have a disability but I’ve never found one until now.. everyone deserves to love and be loved just the way they are.
Happy New Year to all. Thanks for the giveaway.
You’re very welcome, Charlotte.
Thanks!
🙂
Cynthia – so sorry to hear you’re not feeling well! The holidays are no time to be sick.
Sending healing thoughts your way.
Carol – you’re welcome. And if you do read the book, I hope you enjoy it!
Connie – that was just my thought about this giveaway! I wanted to keep the Christmas spirit going just a bit longer. 🙂
Happy New Year to you, too.
Thanks, Shannon. If you do read the book, I hope you enjoy Ryan and Lianne’s story.
Thanks, Candy. The book was a joy for me to write. (Well, and hard work, too. 😉 )
Natasha – that’s just the way Lianne feels about love and everything else in her life. Hope you get the chance to read the story – and that you enjoy it.
Terri – you’re welcome, and the same to you.
Happy New Year’s Eve! 🙂

Another book to add to my wishlist!
Happy New Year, love the blurb for Rancher at risk 🙂 I enjoy stories where the hero & heroine aren’t perfect physically/emotionally 🙂
Thanks for the cool giveaway 🙂

Definitely a romance in the works. 😉
Thanks times two!
Liked, shared and commented on FB, newsletter subscriber. This sounds like a really good book – of course, they all do! Thanks for the chance to win and Happy New Year’s Eve.
I love these rancher stories. Even the covers are enticing. Congratulations and a Happy New Year to you! You are an excellent writer!
Barbara , I just finished reading ” The Rodeo Man’s Daughter ” , which I won on Goodreads . I loved the story and would love to read all of your books, if all are good ‘n’ clean like the one I just read .Lots of the books I read , I’m afraid for my children to get ahold of , lots of sex details that could be left out and still have a great book . “Rancher At Risk” sounds like it will be another great read . Thanks for this chance to win .
This story sounds great! I commented on FB. Hope everyone has a safe and happy New Year!
Thank you for the giveaway, I’d love to read it.
I have never read a story of someone with a hearing impairment. This would be incredibly interesting!
Happy New Years Eve!
Thanks, Karen. Have a safe, fun night!
Gladys – thanks for the kind words. Y’all are ending my year on a high note. 🙂 Happy New Year!
Joan – thanks so much for the compliment! I would love to have you read all my books. 🙂
Just an FYI for you and for anyone else reading, some of my books have love scenes, some don’t. When they do, they are usually very brief – a couple/few paragraphs – and more about the characters’ thoughts, memories, and emotions. I call my books “romance on the sweet(er) side.”
Hope that helps!
Thanks a bunch, Lori! Happy New Year to you, too.
Linda – you’re very welcome!
Hi, veRONica – I’ve had lots of great feedback on the book, including from people who are deaf and/or have deaf family members, and from readers who have no knowledge of deafness at all.
I’ve said this in other places, but Lianne simply happens to be deaf. She’s still a heroine like all of my heroines – which is just what she has to prove!
Happy New Year’s Eve to you, too.
Today’s cover looks like a country song! I can picture Luke Bryan singing this guys tale!
Rancher At Risk is definitely going on my TBR list! It sounds really good! Happy New Year! 🙂
I hear you, Dyan – pun intended. 😉
This is sort of a low-key cover, but I love it because it fits the tone of Ryan’s problem. (No pun intended on that one!)
Thanks, Amanda – I’m glad to have it make your list.
And Happy New Year to you!
Love to read stories about ranchers. Can’t wait to pick up some more. Happy New Year!
Thanks, Tara – if you check out any of my books I hope you enjoy them. Happy New Year!
Thanks for adding me yesterday. I appreciate it, and your giveaways. 🙂 Happy new year!
My pleasure, Kathy – and I hope you New Year is off to a great start!
Squee! (Happy Dance)
I just saw I won (I think) Mina G.?
