Reaching an anniversary of the day of our birth can make us realize we’ve left another year behind. Yet somehow, book birthdays don’t seem to have that same effect. I think I could celebrate one hundred of those and never feel a day older.
Today, I’m celebrating the birthday of just one book. A book, like the baby on the cover, it took about nine months to bring to life. Nine months of plotting and planning, writing and rewriting, sweating over the story and breaking my heart over the hero and heroine and the thought they might never get their happy-ever-after if I didn’t finish their book.
But I did finish. I’m here to celebrate the good news with you. And the virtual chocolate’s on me! 🙂
