This was my mind at 2 a.m.

It’s what happens when I can’t sleep.

Entire lists of items for my to-do list – that never once occurred to me during the day – pop into my head.

Blog posts begin writing themselves.

And those characters who earlier refused to say a word to me or to each other…? One of them suddenly begins spewing a monologue. Then the other jumps in with a rebuttal.

Do you think there’s a connection between the body lying horizontal and the brain seeing things from a different angle? If so, let me know. In future, I may start trying to do my brainstorming lying down with my eyes wide open.

Not today, though. I’m traveling – at least virtually.
