People make fun of many things baseball great Yogi Berra has said in his lifetime, but if you ask me, he often got the last laugh.
He might be the master of malaprop—an incorrect but humorous use of words. Or he could just be the source of some very profound statements.
This is one of my favorites:
“It ain’t over till it’s over.”
I repeat that quote to myself every time I feel ready to throw in the towel.
If there’s a situation you’re having trouble controlling, a challenge you feel you may never overcome, or a goal you’re beginning to doubt you’ll reach, take another look at Yogi’s quote.
He’s right, you know.
