Don’t know about you, but when I’m over-stressed or overtired, I’m certainly guilty of ignoring the above advice and instead running around like the famed chicken with its head cut off.
Sometimes, when we’re most overwhelmed, our tendency is to think, Just keep moving. As long as I keep going, I’m accomplishing something.
Instead, what we’re often doing is creating chaos.
The solution when I’m most stressed is to come to a halt, take a deep breath, devise a workable game plan, and start again.
