REBLOGGED 5-10-17 Why you shouldn’t aim for success #motivation #MFRWauthor #quote
No, this is not an April Fool’s Wednesday Wisdom post!
See below, and let me know what you think…
Conventional wisdom says to choose a goal and aim for it, pick a target and practice until you hit the mark. But sometimes people fall short of their goals when they’re not going after something they love.
Maybe they fall back on what they excelled in at school, or what their parents told them would be a good career choice, or what peer pressure made them believe was cool.
Think of how much more success you might have if you’re going after something you know you love – as I do with every book I write.
Whether it’s pursuing a career, raising a family, or making the best peach pie the world has ever seen…what do you love and believe in? How much more willing would you be to put in the time to practice and get this right?
I’m eager to hear your thoughts!
All my best,
