Wednesday Wisdom: Honor + a #giveaway update #MFRWauthor
Sometimes after the hustle and bustle of Christmas, we find it hard to get back to reality. We miss visits with family and friends, days off from work, late nights and snuggle-up mornings.
My family has some Irish roots, and when I was growing up, we celebrated Little Christmas on January 6. As a kid, I loved the idea of having the holidays last into the new year!
As you may have noticed around here, we’ve been celebrating the 12 Days of Little Christmas with a 12-day giveaway. That was my way of extending the holidays, easing the transition back to our everyday lives and, most of all, saying thanks to my readers, old and new.
The giveaway has ended on the perfect day to say thank you to everyone who stopped by, and I’ve found the perfect quote to share for our first Wednesday Wisdom post of the year. The quote happens to be from an author, so it doesn’t get any better than that!
“I will honour Christmas in my heart, and try to keep it all the year.”
– Charles Dickens, author – A Christmas Carol
~~~
Thanks for reading!
We’ll be back to our regularly scheduled (non-Little Christmas) programming around here from now on.
But stay tuned!
In the next few days, there will be a final chance to win a book and one of those coveted “Best Swag Ever” Decision-Maker key rings.
All my best,
Barbara
