Wednesday Wisdom + more #quotes #confidence #excerpt #romance #MFRWauthor
Today, I’m honoring all veterans – and all of you – with a quote about courage and confidence and overcoming fear.
“You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face…You must do the thing you think you cannot do.”
– Eleanor Roosevelt
Courage comes in so many forms and wears so many disguises.
It changes the lives of those who go into battle or face a grave illness or lose a loved one.
It appears for those who send a child off to war…or to college…or to the first day of kindergarten.
It’s on hand for anyone braving a blood test or a driving test, asking a date to the prom, or climbing onto the bathroom scale with both eyes closed and fingers crossed.
It’s definitely something sought – by this author, anyhow – when facing a blank screen.
Courage comes to those who stop, look fear in the face, and do what needs to be done anyway.
Me? I’m beginning a brand-new book today, which is always fun and exciting. And sometimes, it requires more courage than you think.
So be brave today. Take a chance. And leave a comment if you’d like to share a fear you’re facing – or have overcome!

If you’re around the Internet today, I’m sharing excerpts from two of my Christmas romances.
The Lawman’s Christmas Proposal is in the Spotlight at the Princess of the Light blog. You can find the post here.
And Court Me, Cowboy is featured at Starla Kaye’s blog here.
Hope to see you at the blogs. Meanwhile, have a wonderful Wednesday!
All my best,
