Hello from Barbara!

I’m so glad you decided to visit my Web home and hope you’ll continue to travel along with me on my publishing adventure.

I have to admit it was a long journey from the time I “published” my first book at nine years old until I first saw my words in print and my name on the cover of a full-length novel.

As I tell everyone who will listen, I wouldn’t have survived that long trek without keeping sight of the three Ps:  Persistence.  Perseverance.  And, as my dad would have called it, Pigheadedness.  You know…I guess he’d have been right.

I have to tell you, though, it’s all been worth it—doubled—because that long-awaited sale came with a contract for not one but two books.

That nine-year-old wannabe author couldn’t have asked for anything more!

But the adventure didn’t stop there.

I’m thrilled to say that, along the way, my books have garnered such honors as Top Pick reviews and a Reviewers’ Choice Award nomination from RT Book Reviews.  Best of all, I’ve received so many wonderful letters and e-mails from readers.

I’m so excited to have the chance to share my stories with you, and I hope you’ll look for my books and enjoy them!
