Hello from Barbara!

I’m so glad you decided to visit my Web home and hope you’ll continue to travel along with me on my publishing adventure.

I have to admit it was a long journey from the time I was nine years old until I first saw my words in print and my name on a book cover.

As I tell everyone who will listen, I wouldn’t have survived that long trek without keeping sight of the three Ps:  Persistence.  Perseverance.  And, as my dad would have called it, Pigheadedness.  You know…I guess he’d have been right.

I have to tell you, though, it’s all been worth it—doubled—because that long-awaited sale came with a contract for not one but two books.

When The Sheriff’s Son debuted, I was both stunned and thrilled to learn that my first novel had hit the Borders/Waldenbooks Series Bestseller list.   That’s not all the good news, either.  Book two, Court Me, Cowboy, followed shortly afterward to receive great reviews and several awards.

That nine-year-old wannabe author couldn’t have asked for anything more!

But the adventure didn’t stop there.

Along the way, other books have garnered such honors as  Top Pick reviews and a Reviewers’ Choice Award nomination from RT Book Reviews.

And I’m thrilled to announce that my latest book, Honorable Rancher, was recently released.  You can find more info about the book here.

I hope you’ll look for my books and enjoy them!

Meanwhile, see you along the road.

All my best to you,
